You don’t have to go vanilla to indulge in an upscale, all-inclusive, tropical resort getaway. Nestled on the coast of Miches in the Dominican Republic are two of the Original Group’s newest additions to the Temptation family: Temptation Miches Resort and Temptation Grand Miches Resort. Sitting alongside a beautiful sandy beach with turquoise waters, these two resorts provide an adult-only, all-inclusive clothing & topless-optional experience you won’t forget!

The Naughty Team traveled to the luscious Dominican Republic to indulge in everything these locations offered. Some stayed on the Temptation Miches side, while others were on the Temptation Grand Miches side. Each location is unique from the other.

We want to thank the Temptation team for allowing us to take pictures of the property. It’s best to note that, in general, pictures and video are not permitted at either resort, but because we were there on an industry site visit, we had permission to take photos of the team and the resort.

Key Differences

Temptation Miches Resort

Temptation Miches aims for a younger, trendy audience with candy-colored details and a non-stop party atmosphere—much like its sister resort, Temptation Cancun. It has 382 rooms, six restaurants, a coffee shop, two topless-optional pools, and a beautiful beachside oasis with cabanas and plenty of seating to drench yourself in the sun. The music is thumping, and the audience is young, energetic, and open-minded. Open play is not allowed at this particular resort, but being topless is welcomed and encouraged. This is more of party-all-night vibes; you’ll hear music played in most nightclubs and can hang out at the Sexy Pool from sun up to sun down. You’ll find the Quiet Pool just before you reach the beach. Don’t be discouraged by its green appearance; the lime green tiles on the pool floor give it that look, but the water is clear and just right!

Temptation Grand Miches Resort

Temptation Grand Miches is a luxury, more polished experience, boasting a chic ambiance, a clothing-optional pool and Jacuzzi Lounge, 114 upscale, modern rooms, six restaurants, a playroom, and a discotheque. Play is allowed at the Jacuzzi Lounge (and definitely happens), and both men and women can be as naked as they want to be. The music is more laid back than the other side (Temptation Miches), blasting nostalgic songs and cool ambient beats. This resort is a little more laid-back and relaxed with a cool, sexy vibe. The audience tends to be a little older, not as diverse, and willing to party hard, but that didn’t stop the evening theme night parties and Jacuzzi Lounge nights from being a great time.

Check-In

My partner & I stayed at Temptation Miches. When we arrived at the site, we were driven straight to the front lobby, a massive space with vibrant colors and rounded edges; it gave off an artsy and high-end feel, like you were walking into some posh art gallery in New York City. Our group was greeted with a delicious bubbly drink upon arrival, our luggage into the hands of the very caring and friendly staff, and just a few initials and a signature later, we were given our wristbands that looked like cute friendship bracelets but acted as our room keys—almost a fail-proof way not to lose your room key!

Rooms

When we first walked into our Trendy Pool Vibe View room, we entered a very posh and artsy crystal clean and neat room! I was mainly excited about the bathroom with a rain shower and a cool frosted window that I knew would be great for later exhibitionism. Our towels were twisted into swans waiting for us on the bed. Room service helped us situate our bags and quietly left us to our session of "ooh's and "ahh’s.”

In a matter of moments, there was a knock at the door, and we were presented with this amazing sculpture made of chocolate and dusted in gold! It was so pretty we didn't want to touch it, but my partner has the biggest sweet tooth ever and couldn't resist. That chocolate WAS DELICIOUS!!! These little chocolate pieces of art were delivered to us almost every evening throughout our week-long stay, and we loved all of them.

We utilized room service several times, and although we felt there were a few language difficulties on the operator's end, we could still get our midnight cheeseburgers and cheesecakes delivered straight to us—the perfect cure for a night of hard partying.

The view from our balcony overlooked the Sexy Pool. It was nice to see how busy the area was at all times. During the day, the music was fine and got us in the party mood, but after midnight, once we were done dancing, it seemed like the music went on into the wee hours of the morning, and we found it hard to sleep.

One unique feature is their swim-up suites at both Temptation Miches and Temptation Grand, where the patio leads to a long pool that runs along the perimeter of the building, providing a personal pool for all suites on the ground level to share. The people under us were having so much fun in their swim-up. You can still see the fun happening at the Sexy Pool, yet secluded enough to enjoy your personal space.

I loved the suites at Temptation Grand Miches. The decor is so chic and beautiful, and I thought the vanity mirror was perfect for getting ready for theme nights. We got invited to a party at a Lover's Swim Up, a two-story suite, and it felt like being at someone's house; it was so much fun to hang out in their pool and personal jacuzzi.

The decor is different at Temptation Grand Miches; you’ll find more mirrors, brushed gold, and luxe details like closets, entertainment stands, and furniture. I also noticed that the suites at Temptation Grand had an amazing aroma, a fresh, subtle botanical scent that was calming and pleasant. The suites at this resort felt more like luxury apartments than hotel rooms.

Playgrounds

There are a few spots known as the “playgrounds” where being topless or nude is welcome and in some spots where sexual play is allowed. Open play is not permitted at Temptation Miches but IS allowed at Temptation Grand Miches.

The Sexy Pool at Temptation Miches was beautiful and very fun. I loved the swim-up bar and the ability to have my drinks with me while I waded in the pool, topless and surrounded by incredible people.

What keeps the daily agenda flowing are the Temptation Playmakers, a group of gorgeous, talented people who dance at the pool parties, and the DJ, who had everyone doing the games. He had such a way of highlighting all the couples without making it awkward, and usually, good music set to his bit. The Playmakers are incredibly talented! We remembered their faces and were impressed by their ability to perform multiple times throughout the day.

Every night, the Playmakers put on a show that went with the theme for the evening. Each performance was different from the night before and set to the best music, from top hits to Latin vibes. Temptation Grand Miches often had a live band accompanying the dancers. My favorite show was the Madonna show they did for Glitter Night.

I love having a theme because it gives you something to look forward to every night and sets the tone for the evening. Check the pages for both resorts to find out what the themes are.

Pro-Tip: Try to work your bathing suits into your costumes if you can, so it can serve multiple purposes: less packing and fewer trips back to the room to change in case you want to take an evening dip.

Every day, we had a pool party (also not photographed), where the Playmakers would come out and lead games like a lapdance contest, a blindfolded “Find your partner” game, and other provocative games you could play with your partner. The BEST party was the foam party (sorry, I couldn’t get any pictures of this)! We went to the foam party on each side and had a blast! The foam party on the Grand side was extra fun because the pool was smaller, so the foam built up more, creating walls of foam that everyone was getting lost in and having so much fun.

The Quiet Pool threw me off. For a while, I thought the green coloring was due to algae or the pool wasn't clean. But later in the trip, we found out that the green tiles on the bottom of the pool gave it that green effect. I think this threw a lot of people off, and therefore, there was rarely anyone at that pool. So, if you go to Temptation Miches, the Quiet Pool is the green pool!

Jacuzzi Lounge - Clothing Optional Playground at Temptation Grand Miches

I think the Jacuzzi Lounge at Temptation Grand Miches was the most exciting place. It was a beautiful pool, the water was never too hot but certainly not cold, the music was perfect ( a mix of 90’s R&B and sensual Latin vibes), and the people were sexy and classy. We saw some people playing on the various nights we went, which was nice. Everyone seemed to be on their best behavior while also getting Naughty.

If you go through the Disco at Temptation Grand Miches and head toward the mirrored wall, you can go down the hallway and find the Playroom there. It’s not huge; there are two beds and some furniture to play on, two big screen TVS playing porn, and a bar caddy to put your drinks on. I didn’t get a chance to play there, but I liked the private and enticing vibe. I prefer the Jacuzzi Lounge.

Food & Beverage

Both resorts are all-inclusive and offer a great variety of delicious food and drinks—and I was impressed at the amount of healthy options there. Lately, I’ve been on a high-protein diet, and the chefs never had an issue making me a bun-less burger. At first, it was hard to gauge which restaurants were open at what time because all their hours differed, but we caught on by the end of the week. The restaurants were great, but to me, the stars of the dining experience were the buffets. Loaded with everything you could want from fresh ceviches, exotic fresh-cut fruits, salads, carving stations, omelet stations, burgers, grilled meats, pizza, ice cream, and other delicious treats, these buffets never ceased to provide a pleasant surprise every time we visited.

Here’s a short breakdown of each dining experience at both resorts:

Temptation Miches Restaurants

Rain - Buffet-style, great for breakfast and lunch. Casual.

Amores - Thank God for this place! Tucked right by the Sexy Pool, where you can enjoy your meal and still be part of the pool’s atmosphere. This was an excellent option for a midday snack. I loved their burgers and sandwiches.

Bash - The late-night Bash buffet is a MUST when you’re upstairs partying in your theme costume, hanging out with the Playmakers, and dancing the night away! Perfect for some late-night wings or pizza to sober you up.

Caffeine - This was my daily coffee shop! This little area has coffee, tea, green juice, desserts, ice cream, and other snacks. This is where I discovered that lavender syrup in my Cafe Americano is GOLD.

Flame - This was my favorite restaurant at Temptation Miches! The steak was excellent, and I loved the atmosphere. It was trendy, sleek decor, excellent service, and fantastic food.

Romanza - The first restaurant we tried. Great food! It was a little loud and echo-y in there due to the noise, but it had a cool atmosphere.

SHE - BEST EXPERIENCE OF ALL! This restaurant is designed to look and feel like a strip club. SHE boasts a delicious 3-course meal of exotic flavors and aphrodisiac-laden dishes (lobster, steak, oysters, passionfruit sorbet). Again, the Playmakers were fantastic in their performances, this time their numbers being a little sexier and more risque. Although it wasn’t an entire strip show, they still managed to put on a show that reminded me of Vegas performances. It felt very luxurious to be sipping champagne, eating lobster, and having a front-row seat to these amazing performances all at once.

Temptation Grand Miches

Addiction - The coffee shop on the Grand side. We loved their little sandwiches and sweet treats.

Arrecife - We had a friend say that this place had the best guacamole they’ve had in a LONG time. This was my favorite buffet! I loved the exotic seafood dishes and fresh fruit—definitely one of the best.

Tentazione - This place is open most of the day and allows you to take your food outside to sit by the pool. The food was delicious and a great late-night option on the Grand side.

Suki - SO much fun! Our chef was excellent (Papi), very entertaining and talented. I thought this food was fantastic! Significant portions and the service was excellent.

Sahlo - This was a very sexy and chic restaurant. We ate there twice, once with the Naughty group and then again with some friends. We loved the salmon and delicious chocolate mousse dessert!

Service: (staff attention, initiative, etc.)

I think what makes these resorts stand out is the service. The people of your staff. They are some of the friendliest, sexiest, most welcoming people ever. They seemed to truly like what they do and for the most part, had great attitudes. Whenever I said thank you, they all seemed to answer with "It's my pleasure." I thought that was both thoughtful and sexy. It helped that my partner was fluent in Spanish, and because some felt so at home with him, they went out of their way to say hello, and make sure we had what we needed—including plenty of chocolate!

Other Amenities

In addition to the great pools, restaurants, and playgrounds, both resorts offer a fitness center, spa, and room service, and Temptation Miches has a great game room with a pool table, dart games, and more.

Excursions are also available at an additional cost if you want to explore the Dominican Republic (which I highly recommend). Our group took an excursion to Santa Barbara de Semana, where we took a guided horseback ride through a lush wooded area to a gorgeous waterfall. It began to rain while we were hanging out at the waterfall, so we weren’t there long. We returned to our horses and went to our next stop, the beach at Cayo Levantado—a beautiful beach with the clearest water and softest sand I have ever touched! It was a phenomenal and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend.
