Artist Spotlight - Pashur - Body Paint Artist
We're doubling up on our body painters this year and are so excited to have back again this world-renowned body painter, Pashur, in addition to Mandi Ilene at Naughty N'awlins 2023.
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, where he continues to innovate and break boundaries with his body painting art, Pashur the Body Painter is known for his full-body artistic masterpieces. This award-winning body painter is known throughout the world for his incredible talent, as the “Picasso of Body Painting."
As a professional body painter, Pashur can tailor body painting designs to fit any theme or style. His body painting is a hit at the biggest events in the USA such as the Electric Daisy Carnival, Fantasy Fest, Mardi Gras, Sturgis, Lollapalooza, and more.
He has traveled the world and sold out body paint workshops in Australia, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Scotland, Ireland, England, and Hawaii. Pashur's body painting has been published in hundreds of magazines around the world.

BODY PAINTING WORKSHOP:
Join both Pashur and Mandi Ilene at 1 pm on Thursday, July 6th as they explain techniques, talk about what brushes and paints to use, and give you a chance to try some body painting of your own (brushes and paint will be supplied). They will show you examples of elaborate paintings they did with step-by-step images so you can see how these amazing works of art you see on shows like Skin Wars are done. They will show you simple tips and tricks so you can try your hand at body painting with your partner in this workshop.
BODY PAINTING EXXXPOSITION:
We're having a body painting demonstration at the NOPSI Hotel's topless rooftop pool at 1 pm on Friday, July 7th where you can see our two talented body painters go head to head. For one hour, they will paint a lucky guest and then you can clap for your favorite work of art. The real winners will be the attendees who get to see some of the world's best body painters at work while enjoying time at our topless pool.
TEAM BODY PAINT CONTEST:
On Saturday, July 8th we will have a team body painting contest. We will have a couple of teams compete against each other with a "Mardi Gras theme" to see which team can put together the best overall work of art. We will supply the brushes and paint, you supply the imagination and creativity. Our two resident body painters will determine the winner.
