BLACK LEADERS IN THE SEX POSITIVE COMMUNITY
While it's wonderful to have an entire month dedicated to honoring the lives and legacies of Black people, let's be very clear, every day is an opportunity to celebrate Black culture. Black innovators, educators, experts, business owners, sex workers, and entertainers have played a huge role in shaping the sex-positive lifestyle industry.
In fact, a large percentage of the sex-positive educators you can find out there, speaking the truth and bringing up all of the juicy, uncomfortable, yet greatly needed topics, are Black women. Many integrate sexuality with topics of race, bringing to light fresh perspectives that in the past may have gone unseen. We are honored to present you this list of amazing people who we have had the pleasure of working with at past Naughty events. Their work continues to enlighten and inspire us every day.

Marla Renee Stewart
Sexologist/coach/educator, owner of Velvet Lips Sex Ed, co-founder and organizer of Sex Down South conference, author of The Ultimate Guide to Seduction & Foreplay, co-written with Jessica O’Reilly, Ph.D., and soon-to-be Mom, Marla aims to bring diverse groups together to learn and share their experiences in the essence of being authentic and fostering sexual liberation across communities. She taught us how to utilize "pervertables" at one of our first Naughty virtual events, has spoken at Naughty N'awlins, and hasn't stopped for a beat the entire pandemic. She's been leading the sex-positive community with non-stop virtual workshops, discussions, and Zoom demonstrations covering an entire spectrum of topics from squirting to Race and Kink.

King Noire & Jet Setting Jasmine
Possibly the sexiest people in the lifestyle, both as a couple and separately. She (Jasmine) is a licensed clinical therapist with a strong emphasis on Intimacy Post Injury and Intimacy Post Illness. He (King Noire) is an accomplished writer, artist, MC and global activist using the proceeds of his album ‘Music Is My Weapon’ to build a school, freshwater well, and medical clinic in Guinea Bissau, West Africa. Together they own the award-winning Royal Fetish Films and combine their love of arts, film, and sex education to produce erotica that stimulates and engages the audience to explore their sexual boundaries. They work together to help break the stereotypes of relationships and representing POC (people of color) in a rather white-washed industry.

Amina is the founder of the Atlanta Institute of Tantra & Divine Sexuality, Owner of Fearless Giving: Atlanta Tantra (formerly Tantra in Paradise), and the host of the Fix Your Sex Podcast. She is a healer, sexual doula, intimacy coach, massage therapist, tantric sex educator, sacred sex worker, sexual revolutionary, and activist. She began practicing massage after completing a 500 hr program at the New Chicago School of Bodywork and Massage in 2004.
