LIFESTYLE-FRIENDLY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

SS HEADER J9.jpg

You may have noticed how platforms like Instagram and Facebook have really cracked down on anything having to do with sex. Sex educators, bloggers, influencers, toy distributors, and everything in between have affected by the new Community Standard on Sexual Solicitation for these two main platforms, causing accounts to be suspended, posts were taken down and a dilution of our expressive nature.

Being in the lifestyle or having a sex-positive account on either Instagram or Facebook, might mean having to censor pictures a little better, not use certain terms used in our lifestyle vernacular, not promoting any type of sex work including web-caming, adult-only events, video chat, live performances, escorting or really anything sexual, erotic or tantric. We've seen it happen to our own Naughty Events accounts which is why you may have noticed a few changes in the language we use on our posts, as well as images.

If you feel the need to remain on these platforms for business, branding, or any other reason, that's totally understandable. Just know, there are other options out there for those who are looking to connect with other people in the lifestyle and express themselves freely without being reprimanded or wiped off the platform.

Here are a couple of lifestyle-friendly platforms to consider:

Naughty Members
We have our very own membership platform with absolutely no censorship and the freedom to say and post what you want. You can upload photos of yourselves, reach out to other couples that are attending Naughty Events and we even have an awesome virtual playspace with free and inexpensive hosted parties available every week.

The best part about this platform is that every member is someone that has booked one of our cruises or events, so you know you are dealing with real people. There are so many fake accounts on social media, as well as many of the bigger lifestyle websites. Typically, the larger the website, the more fake profiles and the less luck that people have to find real people online. Naughty Members is smaller (we only have a little over 3,000 couples) but you know that everyone is a real couple or a verified single.

In response to the closing of events and lifestyle clubs all over the world due to COVID, this virtual online platform was born. It's a completely uncensored, adult-only, lifestyle platform where you can build your own profile, post sexy pics and connect with couples and singles from all over the world.

Every Saturday night, we host a virtual theme party, complete with games, live demos, sometimes workshops and classes. It's one of the only ways to get face-to-face action with the people you're meeting online, as it is a video chat site and you can talk to people live and on camera. Click Here to start your Naughty Events membership.

Kasidie
Made for people in the lifestyle, by people in the lifestyle. The site is filled with sexy profiles, parties, travel, reviews, and articles, along with relevant utilities, tools, features, and of course, fun! Kasidie is a fun, sexy gathering place for seasoned swingers, newbies, and even curious vanillas (non-swingers) to learn about and join in the swinging lifestyle. You can get as Naughty as you want with the images you post and the things you say (as long as it's respectful). If you don't have a Kasidie membership yet, you definitely need one. Click Here to get a Free membership Kasidie, now.

This is our favorite lifestyle website, but there are a couple of others we do recommend.

Lifestyle Lounge
This is one of the original “bigger” websites that has done the best job of weeding out fakes and maintaining one of the classier websites devoted to lifestyle couples, clubs, and travel. This website is especially prominent on the west coast, from Minneapolis to L.A., but they have a decent membership nationwide. Click Here a Free membership to Lifestyle Lounge.

SDC
Seek. Discover. Connect. SDC is an erotic dating and lifestyle community for open-minded couples and singles, swingers, and kinksters. Whether you’re curious about improving your relationship and sex life, a newbie to the lifestyle, an experienced veteran, or anything in between, SDC.com’s media site can help guide you on your erotic journey. Their expert contributors create educational and entertaining articles, podcasts, and videos about relationships, sexuality, kink, and more key topics. Click Here to get a Free membership to SDC.

Quiver
One of the newer, up and coming websites is Quiver. Started in Texas, this website has a big hold if you live, or attend events or clubs in Texas. They have been growing and have spread into a lot of other states and are building up their base with the help of their new App.

Apps will be the next BIG THING in our industry. We suggest joining a few apps and seeing which ones you like best. Click Here to get a Free membership to Quiver.

Speaking of Apps, here are two you can try for free (like Tinder for couples):

PlayLove
On Tinder, you are supposed to be looking for a date, not looking to play, but we all know that most people on Tinder are simply looking for a hook-up. On PlayLove, you can be open about looking to play and they won’t boot you off their app (like Tinder does) just because you are looking to hook up with someone (or more than one person).

PlayLove’s motto is “More flavors than just Vanilla”, which means you can list yourself as straight, or bi, trans, gay, pansexual, sapiosexual, demisexual, panromantic, and more… This platform is a real sex-positive take on an app where open-minded people can meet others like themselves. Click Here to get the PlayLove App.

NEON
This app is a place dedicated to connecting open-minded couples and singles. Whether you are in a swinging, non-monogamous or monogamous relationship, you can use Neon to meet amazing people near you. Click Here to get the Neon Dating App.

and finally:

Twitter
We know you likely have a Twitter account and we know why. It's because Twitter is a lot more relaxed about the usage of nudity, sexual language, and links leading to other adult sites. With a character limit of 280, it forces you to be concise and to the point about what you're saying in your post, leaving it up to the links you provide and images you post to really get your point across. Follow us on Twitter: @naughty_nawlins and @naughty_events
