NAUGHTY GUIDE: WHERE TO EAT & DRINK IN NEW ORLEANS
It’s only fitting that the largest event for Naughty, indulgent behavior in the world i.e, Naughty N’awlins, takes place in the city that is best known for its decadent food culture and legendary libations, New Orleans. One thing on everyone’s mind when coming to New Orleans is food. With so many cultures from around the world influencing the palates and kitchens of our city, there’s a little something for everyone.
Here, we give you a list of some of our favorite bars & restaurants around the area where our event will be this year, which is in the Central Business District (CBD). These amazing places should all be fairly easy to get to and most certainly would love to entertain the sexy, lively people of Naughty. Here’s the Naughty list of places to eat and drink in New Orleans.
CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT (CBD)
Most of our guests for Naughty N’awlins this year are staying at the NOPSI Hotel in the CBD (Central Business District). This is the most metropolitan part of the city with tall skyscrapers, museums, art galleries and upscale restaurants, bars and hotels. Just a few blocks away from the French Quarter and an easy streetcar ride away from the Garden District and Uptown. It’s also where you’ll find Colette’s, the lifestyle club where we will be hosting our playrooms, literally around the corner from the NOPSI Hotel. Here’s some places you’ll love in the CBD.
Peche
If you like it raw, Peche is a delicious option. This chic restaurant provides a menu full of raw seafood options such as oysters, tartare and salads, as well as other amazing seafood options with a fresh contemporary, modern twist.
Luke
Another great place to feed each other tasty aphrodisiacs (oysters), Luke sits on the famous St. Charles Ave. just a few blocks away from the NOPSI. It is a Creole-inspired Brasserie that offers the freshest seafood and oysters straight from the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy their lively happy hour from 3-6!
Carmo
Looking for something a little more Caribbean, or perhaps you want something on the healthier, veggie-positive side? Carmo is an amazing tropical inspired bar & restaurant providing delicious, exotic beverages and dishes with multi-cultural influences found throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America, West Africa and Southeast Asia with an emphasis on fresh located ingredients.
Herbsaint
Comfort food but make it elegant! With the weather being a little cooler for Naughty N’awlins this year, warm up to Herbsaint’s award-winning French Southern-inspired menu and eclectic wine list. Gorgeous setting right on St.Charles where you can sip an amazing vino and watch the streetcar roll by.
Sazerac House
New Orleans is the home of the cocktail, one signature libation that we claim is the Sazerac. Sazerac House is located right on the corner of Canal and Magazine, between the NOPSI and the French Quarter—you can’t miss it. It’s an amazing place to learn about New Orleans’ history in cocktail making and try the signature drink for yourself.
Auction House Market
Auction House Market is a trendy, eclectic food hall that features multiple vendors from craft cocktails to sushi, Filipino cuisine to vegetable-centric, brunch-like modern fare. You can try a little bit of everything and delve into this interesting, fun atmosphere while supporting small local businesses.
Rouses in the CBD
Sometimes you just need to hit up the grocery store. So we couldn’t leave out Rouses on Baronne St., just a few blocks from the NOPSI. It’s the New Orleans supermarket chain offering everything you need and more including beer, wine and grab-n-go options.
FRENCH QUARTER
No doubt you will find yourself venturing the French Quarter at some point during your time in New Orleans. It’s the heartbeat of the city and a cradle of history that dates back to over 300 years ago. It’s home to some of the world’s top restaurants and bars, filled to the brim with entertainment and good times. Just remember, you got your shoes on your feet! Here’s some of our French Quarter faves:
Palm & Pine
One of Bob & Tess’s favorite spots! Located on the perimeter of the French Quarter on Rampart St., Palm & Pine defines themselves as a “progressive and soulful dining experience” with a menu that is based on southern culture with a Caribbean, Mexican and Central American flare. Amazing cocktails and an event list chalk-full of things to do throughout the week. Great place to watch the Saints game or join in on one of their Flight Nights—25% off All Cane & Agave Flights and 50% off the Featured Flight of the Night.
Black Penny
This is where Bob & Tess love to hang out and meet all their friends. Another place that sits right on the border of the Quarter, Black Penny sits on Rampart St. across from the historic Louis Armstrong Park and serves up over 90 regional, American and imported craft beers and more. They often showcase new and upcoming local food vendors with their weekly pop-ups. Great place to meet local people in the lifestyle.

On the fancy side of things, GW Fins is one of the most prestigious seafood restaurants in New Orleans. Their menu features only the freshest, pristine fish from all corners of the globe. They print out a new menu daily and provide an award-winning wine list from Wine Spectator that features more than 100 boutique and large production wines from California, France, Italy, Spain and Argentina. The space is contemporary, relaxing and yet exhilarating creating a magnificent experience right in the heart of the French Quarter.
The Upper Quarter
It’s the officially, un-official Naughty watering hole. This tiny bar gets it’s name from it’s location which is—you guessed it—in The Upper Quarter. No frills, no menu but it’s full of character and provides a fun place to meet and gather, watch the game, get drinks and rally the troops for a night out on the town. You’ll end up seeing a lot of familiar faces at the
Nola PoBoys
When you want the signature sandwich of New Orleans, this is where you need to go! Right on Bourbon St. (but a little further away from the chaos), Nola Poboys is a small, low-key venue offering traditional New Orleans dishes from jambalaya, red beans and rice, gumbo, seafood bisque and of course, an extensive list of both hot and cold poboys. Bring your appetite y’all.
Central Grocery & Deli
Or perhaps you’re craving the other famous NOLA sandwich—a nice juicy muffaletta. Look no further than Central Grocery & Deli, home of the muffaletta, right on Decatur St. A third-generation old fashioned grocery store that’s been serving the city since 1906. The shelves are stocked with old-world traditional style Italian ingredients and the deli provides meats, cheeses and of course the signature muffaletta.

Cane & Table is a hidden gem that’s perfect for a small group to come sip wine and share delicious tapas-style appetizers and entrees.
GARDEN DISTRICT
Hop on the streetcar and take it down St. Charles into the historic Garden District where you’ll find massive traditional southern-style homes, enormous oak trees that canopy the streets and little shops, bars and restaurants peppered throughout the area. Take a walk down Magazine St. and explore the many local businesses that make New Orleans such a magical place. If you’re looking for a more local type of experience, we recommend going this route. Here’s a few places we love in the Garden District:
The Columns Hotel
This historic hotel has been there since the late 1800’s, also the setting for the movie “Pretty Baby” starring Brooke Sheilds and Susan Sarandon. Molly’s Rise and Shine
We love a good breakfast spot. There’s a light hearted, childlike streak that runs through Molly’s Rise and Shine with its walls decked out with vintage lunch boxes and board games. This eclectic, off-key spot offers nostalgic, rib-sticking dishes with a creative twist—think heirloom tomato BLTs and fried chicken McMuffin-style sandwiches. A fun way to set the tone for a day full of Naughty behavior.
