New Orleans School of Cooking in the French Quarter offers both open demonstration and hands-on classes. They’ll go over a few classic New Orleans recipes like gumbo, crawfish etouffee, shrimp & grits and Bananas Foster and add a few history lessons, jokes and tall tales. They also have a store you can visit afterward to pick up exclusive key ingredients you can only find here in New Orleans.

Art District Bikes
Grab a small group of friends and cruise around the city on a unique light up bike. Art District Bikes provides a mobile party that leads you on a trip throughout the city with comfortable light up bikes that come with baskets and cup-holders and guided by an escort who will turn the music up and keep the party going. Ride a bit, stop a bit, take pics, dance and be social. This is one of Bob & Tess’s favorite ways to explore New Orleans.
