TIPS FOR SEXY HOTEL ROOM TRANSFORMATION
Kristen Dawson is a bonafide part of the Naughty Framily and has been coming to Naughty N'awlins for years. She is best known for her kaleidoscope hair, her glittering personality and the way she transforms her hotel rooms at Naughty N'awlins into her own magical playrooms.
Her taste in unicorn colors, sparkling details and crowd-pleasing additions transforms a normal (but still beautiful) hotel room into a fantasy playground where her friends and new connections may come, play games, take yummy shots, mingle and of course get into a little mischief if they so please. Kristen creates the perfect "happy place" to recharge, relax and get to know people in a more intimate, private setting.
Since the playrooms are at Colette and some people prefer entertaining at the hotel, we thought it woud be cool to put together some tips on how to make your hotel room a magical, inviting place for you and maybe a couple friends.
Here's a few tips from Kristen & the Naughty Team on transforming your hotel room into a magical playroom:
HAVE A THEME
Create a fun atmosphere that has a great theme to it so you can build you room around that. Find some colors you'd like to work with and details that bring it all together. If you need some inspiration, use the Naughty N'awlins 2020 themes as your guide so that your guests can be dressed to fit the scene. For Pajama Night, create a sultry, velvety atmosphere with comfy, feel good details perfect for cuddling. Animal Print night demands a jungle, safari, rainforest or outdoorsy look to bring out your guest's wild side. Or turn your room into a makeshift cityscape or underground lair for Superheroes & Villains night for the ultimate playroom takeover. And of course, you can deck your hotel room out in Mardi Gras beads, with purple, gold and green details and hand out masks for the finally Mardi Gras Masquerade night.
PLASTIC PARTY TABLE CLOTHS
These are easily accessible for any theme and cheap!! These are used with command strips for wall coverage. Its a quick and easy way to start morphing from a basic hotel room to a party room you don't want to leave. (Find them at Walmart or Party City)
BATTERY OPERATED LED LIGHTS
These are more of an investment purchase because they can range in price; however, they are versatile for ANY theme! Curtain lights and projector lights are the best for coverage, color styles, and visuals. Standard party lights sold during Halloween or Christmas are great, and even better post season on sale. SNACKS, SHOTS AND GAMES
No party is complete without good food or drinks. Do some research and be creative in designing a signature drink that matches the theme. It's a conversation starter, but also leaves a positive impression to keep guest coming back and making connections for future events! "Just a couple ideas I've done are 'Sex and Candy' cotton candy shots for a sexy circus themed party and 'Snow Miser' or 'Heat Miser' shots for a winter wonderland themed party; these were done with an actual snow cone machine!" says Kristen. Games keep the party going and can act as icebreakers for people who aren't acquainted yet—for example, Kristen had a cock ring toss in her room once. SUPPLY TOYS & PROTECTION
Have a few fun toys laying around that can be safely used by anyone (leave your vibrator or anything that goes 'in' you out of it) like paddles, floggers, whips, handcuffs or fluffy ticklers. And of course, be a source of safe fun and supply condoms, masks and hand sanitizer in case your guests need them. This will help create a welcoming, sexy yet safe atmosphere that you will all enjoy!
