Nessa’s Plus-One Room Blog
I am not a woman who is turned on by the thought of having multiple men during one sexual encounter. So naturally, the thought of going into a playroom full of single men was not overly exciting to me. I am a woman married to a man who is very turned on by the idea of seeing me with multiple men. I initially entered the lifestyle so that my husband could see me have sex with another man. While that's where I started; my journey through the lifestyle has taken me in many directions. Kinks that once repulsed me are now a turn-on, and things that used to turn me on are boring.
Naughty N'awlins provided us with many "firsts" in the lifestyle. We approached NIN with a "Why not, we are here?" Type of attitude. The dark room was a room that both intrigued me and frightened me. I tried it, but it's not for me. While it’s not for me, I'm happy I tried. The other room I had mixed feelings about was the plus-one room. The plus-one room has multiple small play areas separated by sheer curtains. Upon entering, you will see single men roaming about. Maybe even some men will greet you at the door. In my imagination, this room had a few mattresses on the floor and the walls lined with men waiting to pounce on any woman who dared to lay on the beds. Maybe my knowledge of single men was a bit skewed. I have had plenty of great experiences with single men in the lifestyle and some unfavorable experiences. Ultimately, single men get a bad rap in the lifestyle. From poor behavior, ghosting, bad hygiene, or just being sexually selfish, there is a whole gamut of things single guys do wrong.
A big part of the lifestyle for me and my husband is tapping into our fantasies and desires, so while I wasn't thrilled about the idea of the plus-one room, I knew my husband would absolutely love to see me have the experience.
I planned to only look into the room from the hallway. We approached the room slowly. Still in the hallway, I was approached by a handsome, polite, clean-cut, good-smelling gentleman. He was not assertive at all. He was kind, and he calmed my nerves immediately. We kissed and touched each other right there in the hallway. Obviously, it didn't take much, but crossing that threshold into the plus-one room was an easy and comfortable one. I never felt coerced, and that made all the difference for me. I ended up with three gentlemen that night. I was pleasantly surprised that my time in the plus-one room was so much about me and my comfort.
Woman-centric is a word I learned after this experience. When I say woman-centric to describe the plus-one room, I say that women have been considered in every aspect. I was offered to have the sheets changed after they became wet. I was offered water upon finishing. I was given a massage by one of the men. He even used lotion. I felt cared for. The men I encountered in this room were all very well put together. They were polite, clean (not even the scent of another woman), and willing to please me. A new concept for me (not to aim to please the men but to allow them to please me), which allowed me to enjoy myself truly.
I wish I could promise this same experience to every woman who enters the plus-one room. I was lucky that the men I played with that night were all a part of a group called "The Goodfellaz". These single men are "trained". They follow a specific set of rules which allow them to be woman-centric. The plus-one room is open to any man who wants to try it, so there is no guarantee you will have a "Goodfella." That's not to say that only "Goodfellaz" make your experience, but I do believe it was part of why my first experience was so good.
The "Goodfellaz" will return to the plus-one room at NIN 2024.
