Naughty is Evolving

Every year, our event changes or, better yet, evolves. What we used to think was the best idea sometimes gets old, or we simply find better ways to do things. This year, we are seeing a LOT more changes, and we think the changes will make Naughty even better than before.

Here is a list of things that are changing, so you will have a better idea of what to expect and clearer expectations:

Jen Porter

Jen Porter has been one of our attendees' favorite performers, and we simply love her. She is not only a great singer and piano player, but she is also a talented songwriter who has written many songs about BDSM, non-monogamy, and the swinging lifestyle in general.

Typically, Jen would play from 11 pm until 1 am and we got some feedback that many of our attendees were missing out on playtime and even bedtime because they had to stay up to see her performances. This year, we have decided to move her timeslot to 8- 11 pm at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel (on Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday nights). This will be a great opportunity to check out Jen before heading upstairs to the main parties, and she will finish her shows before the playrooms open.

We are also moving Jen to the NOPSI Hotel on Friday night for a special show on a grand piano in the lobby. When she finishes up, she will join the No Idea band in the main Ballroom (this is going to be so cool!).

Jen JUST released a brand new song she wrote called “Fire, Lightning, Rainbows”. Go check out this song on Spotify and add it to some of your playlists (this song is awesome!)

No Idea Band

The No Idea band played way back in 1999, and they have been a staple and fan favorite all these years. They get better and better as the years go by.

Usually, this band plays one night, but this year, they are playing two nights, one at each hotel. They will play a completely different set each night, so if you are a fan of rock and roll and 80s and 90s hits, you will love this band.

As a special treat (as mentioned above), Jen Porter will join them at the NOPSI Hotel for a collaboration we have dreamed about. This night will be special night.

Naughty Bingo

Do you like Bingo? Games? Being Naughty? You can have it all at our new Naughty Bingo show on Friday Night from 9 - 11 pm at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Everyone will get a Bingo card and a Bingo marker and will compete for fabulous prizes, including a Free Naughty N’awlins Grand Prize ($799 Value). So come check out this fun game, and bring some friends to play with (pun intended). At Naughty N’awlins, there are more things to do than just listen to DJs; we are adding a lot more games and interactive events that are fun but also great icebreakers and ways to connect with other attendees in ways that are not loud and encourage you to meet others.

Naughty Comedy Show

One of our new additions in 2023 (last year) was our new Naughty Comedy Show. Over the weekend, twelve comedians kept our crowd in stitches. This year, we are moving the show a little later in the night, 11-12 (midnight), to get a bigger crowd.

We have some of the best comedians returning again for the second year, along with a few fresh faces, to bring a little laughter to this adults-only event with some serious adult humor.

Keeping in touch

A few years ago, we launched our Naughty Members site so people could see who was coming and they could message them, like their photos, set up dates, and share password-protected photos with who they wanted. All without the fear of Facebook jail and social media censorship. Well, this year, we are taking it one step further and creating a Telegram group.

This will give people a place to connect, join subgroups, upload photos, and share what is going on while at the event. You can still post to the Naughty Members newsfeed while in New Orleans, but this is yet another new feature we are rolling out and will have in place well before Naughty. Everyone who is attending will get an invitation to the Telegram group in a week or so.

Schedule coming out soon…

We normally send out a copy of the schedule 2 weeks before the event starts, and this year, we hope to have it finished over a month in advance. This is not an easy task, as there are a lot of moving pieces and classes that are still being approved, but we think we have enough done that we can get the schedule out, and we can update it as we add more events and classes. The great thing about having the schedule on your phone is that it updates every time you load it, giving you the most up-to-date version every time you reload it.

Late night Pizza and Lounge

We used to bring pizza up to the play floor at midnight, and it just became a mess. For those who thought it would be a good idea to bring the pizza into the beds, it ruined it for everyone, and we just had to move the pizza somewhere else.

So, the pizza will be moving down to the 1st floor, just off the lobby and into the Naughty Lounge. This is where we will be playing sexy music at a much lower volume than upstairs to give people a great place to meet up and hang out. This is a great place to take a break from the loud music and slip off those high heels where you can talk to other attendees without having to yell.

We are going to schedule some cool late-night events here (like an erotic poetry reading and some guest musicians), so check the nightly schedule to see if anything special is going on. Even when nothing is scheduled, this will be a great place to meet people before heading to the play floor or your rooms.

Additions to the playrooms

We are adding a reverse Gloryhole section to one of our playrooms. This is something that gained popularity in Eastern Europe and will be a fun new thing to try out for those who are into “Hotwifing” and Stag & Vixen dynamics. We think this could be a fun new addition, and if it is popular, we will expand this area in 2025.

Naughty Keyhole Cabaret

We are adding a cool Amsterdam-style Peep Show called the Naughty Keyhole Cabaret. It will be a booth in the corner of our gallery, outside our main ballroom, with a red light attached to the top. When the light is on, we encourage you to go up to the booth and take a peek inside through the keyhole. For a couple of hours per night, a beautiful dancer from New Orleans will put on a sexy show where she will tease, dance and strip to sensual music. When our entertainer is not inside, the light will turn off, and you can go inside and be part of the show.

This is a great place for sexy exhibitionists and voyeurs who love to watch them. Similar to the days when we had a shadow box, you could jump behind and get a little Naughty, and you wouldn’t even know who was watching. Just make sure you turn the red light back on so people will know you are inside.

New Sponsors

This year, we have some new sponsors who are stepping up in a big way. They will be hosting parties on Bourbon St, pool parties at the NOPSI Hotel and even nighttime parties in our ballrooms. Some of our new sponsors are iCandy Parties and Secrets Hideaway Resort, who are donating their shuttle bus to get people to and from each hotel. Oasis Aqualounge, an amazing club in Toronto, Canada, is sponsoring 3 pool parties at the NOPSI this year. People have stepped up big this year.

Upgraded Shuttle Service

Speaking of Secrets Hideaway Resort, we are going to have a 24-passenger shuttle provided by Secrets Hideaway that will help move people between the NOPSI and Astor Crowne Plaza Hotels. Last year, we had a couple of golf carts, but people did not know that they were with the hotel, so we had signs made and even gave the driver our Staff T-shirts. However, these were last-minute additions, and we did not get the word out in time.

This year, we will have the Secrets Hideaway Shuttle AND a couple of golf carts to ensure you can easily get from hotel to hotel without walking the three blocks. This might be the best addition to the event, and it will allow more people staying at the Astor Crowne Plaza to go check out the No Idea Band and some of the parties going on at the NOPSI Hotel.

Naughty will always evolve. We will always add things and improve based on feedback from our attendees. We feel this is the biggest change we have seen in quite a while, and we are really looking forward to seeing what you think…
