Speaker Spotlight: Lauren Hayes

My name is Lauren Hayes, and I am a relationship coach specializing in supporting ENM couples, including swingers and the ENM-curious. Trained in both life (Co-Active) and relationship (Gottman, level 1) coaching, I assist couples in navigating and engaging the swinging and non-monogamous community in the healthiest ways. I hold the perspective that non-monogamous relationships share the foundations of any healthy relationship; however, they need to operate at a higher level of health to accommodate the additional complexities. My approach aims to help couples build their ideal relationship, regardless of how or how many others it includes. I also bring personal experience to my coaching, having been married for 19+ years and ENM (swingers) for the last 5+ years. The Lifestyle has been a path of amazing personal and relationship growth, and I love helping others experience the same.

The courses that I'm presenting at Naughty this year reflect my passion for couples and each creating their own unique union (s). The Conversation that Every Lifestyle Couple Should be Having is very much a workshop - I'll do less talking than you will (to your partner (s)). It's a conversation framework to get you in sync with a primary, or however many people are involved. I got so many great reviews on this last year I wanted to bring it back! Repair, Don't Despair: The Art of Conflict Management is important because these moments can help build our relationships or work against us. While conflict is normal, non-monogamous couples put themselves in conflict's way a bit more often, making it an important skill. Finally, I am leading a fun and interactive session called Swinger What Ifs. We all have "what if" worries when we get into lifestyle and continue to have them even as we get more experienced. I'll bring some common what-ifs, and you bring yours! Then we'll tackle them together for a fun conversation where I'll weigh in, and so will you - with ways to handle different situations. We will all learn so much from one another.
