2023 Came and Went

Well, it’s the end of another year; it feels like it was just yesterday. I was sitting here writing about how I couldn’t believe 2023 was already here. It seems like these years are passing faster and faster. I can’t complain or have any regrets about 2023; I feel like it was kind of like a normal year for me. 

I hope 2024 is the same next year, I like normal. Yesterday I bought a new schedule calendar and filled in all of 2024 events that I already know I’m working, it was nice to see all the spaces I have left to fill in for this coming year concerts, traveling to visit friends and friends coming to visit my farm to get away from the city. I hope to visit with family more this year, it seems like when I get down to Florida it is always a quick hello and goodbye. I need to make more family time so I don’t regret it later.

2024 will not be a “It’s a New Year, New Me.” I don’t have any New Year’s Resolutions; I am just taking 2024 day by day. I might pick up a new hobby, try something new, or see what comes my way. I have the rest of my calendar to fill out, but I don’t have to fill it all out now. I am grateful for everything I have and everyone in my life. Life Is Good! I hope this time next year, I am not sitting here writing, “2024 Kicked My Ass!”
