Recently, the CDC has required anyone traveling out of the country to get a viral test (a test for current infection) within the 3 days before your flight back to the U.S. and provide written documentation of your laboratory test results (paper or electronic copy) to the airline or provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19.
In order to create a stress-free, helpful and safe environment for you, so that you may once again travel and enjoy your life, lifestyle resorts such as Desire Riviera Maya and Temptation Resort in Mexico are offering top-quality COVID-19 testing at no cost for couples staying a minimum of 3 nights in any room category and checking out as of Jan. 26.
For guests staying less than 3 nights, tests will be available at a preferential rate of $50 USD per test. Tests results are delivered on a same-day basis. Q - Do I need a Negative test to travel to Temptation Resort or Desire Resort in Mexico?
A - No. At this time there is no requirement to have a test before you travel to Mexico.
Q - Will the resort offer a way to be tested for our return trip to the USA?
A - Yes. Both Temptation Resort and the Desire Resort will provide top-quality COVID-19 antigen tests by Hospiten, a renowned international hospital group, at no additional cost for guests staying a minimum of 3 nights in any room category and checking out as of Jan. 26 (limited to 2 guests per room). If your clients are staying less than 3 nights, don’t sweat, tests will be available to them at a preferential "Temptationers-only" rate of $50 USD per test. Tests results are delivered on a same-day basis.
Q - What happens if I test positive at either of the resorts?
A - You will have to quarantine. In the event of a positive test, guests have our full support. After receiving confirmation of a positive result, guests will spend the 14-day period required in a specially designated room at a special rate of $75 USD per person, per night (Temptation) and $125 USD per person, per night (Desire).
Q - What happens if a guest tests positive and the partner tests negative?
A - As a preventive measure, all room occupants need to comply with the quarantine period whenever there is a positive result, even if the other guest tests negative.
Q - What services and amenities are provided to guests in the specially designated rooms?
A - Guests are provided with everything they could possibly need, such as food and beverages, linens, cleaning products, etc. All items are left by the room’s door; please note that, due to safety measures, staff members are not allowed to interact with guests in the specially designated rooms.
