SUPPORTING LOCAL ARTISTS IN MEXICO

Things have been quietly busy on the Bob & Tess front. They are still in Zipolite, Mexico soaking in every glorious sunset and warm breeze, but also chipping away at the project Bob began months ago. He has finally opened his bar "Zen Lounge" in the little town where they are, it's a beautiful little piece of heaven-if-it-had-a-nightclub. Crazy to open such a thing during these times or perfect timing? We're going for the latter.

Bob's 'Zen Lounge' has provided a space for local artists to come and showcase their art and even perform in his brand new spot. Why not establish it as a local gallery and venue space while the crowd is bare and you can work out all the kinks? Bob & Tess have always been huge supporters of local art and music (the huge reason why they live in New Orleans as well). By providing a space for the artists in their area to express themselves, they are doing something they are world-famous for creating an environment where one can be free & safe.

Staying in tune with the local diversity and supporting their efforts to keep the culture alive is the main goal of Bob and Tess' much like it is in New Orleans. This new space allows the community to express their talents, get in front of new people and possibly make money—and this is only the beginning!

Bob & Tess always have a way of connecting with local personalities. They know how to support the artists and talent in a way that helps them out. 'Zen Lounge' is an example of that at their home away from home.
